What is a loan fee scam?A loan fee scam is when a fraudster poses as a lender and demands an upfront payment before releasing a loan that does not exist. Legitimate lenders, including Credicorp, never charge a fee before a loan is paid out. If someone asks you to pay in advance to receive a business loan, stop and report it.
